We ask that if you must miss a pre-scheduled appointment, that you notify our office at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us the opportunity to appropriately record your need to cancel an appointment, and more importantly, allows us to open your appointment time for another child who can benefit from being seen. In the event that you miss an appointment and fail to notify our office in advance, you will receive a "friendly reminder" from our practice manager indicating that we missed you. A second missed appointment without prior notice will result in a letter from your attending physician. A third missed appointment without prior notice may result in dismissal from Mountain Area Pediatrics. The attending physician will determine the level of notification given following a missed appointment without prior notification.
